Le Labo Fragrances, the New York-based cult perfumery, is known for its collection of award winning and made-to-order perfumes and home scents available in a limited number of stores/labs around the world.


Le Labo Fragrances is looking for a passionate AREA Manager to lead our growth and expansion.


Le Labo is a niche perfume company, born in Grasse and raised in New York City. We sparked a revolution ten years ago and today, we remain unconventional in the luxury perfumery market.

Every fragrance is freshly hand-blended and each label is personalized, before the eyes of our clients, at the moment of purchase.

Mindful in everything we do – from fragrance creations to where we choose to open a new boutique – our primary mission is to share the beauty of our craft with the world. It is more than just product; Le Labo offers sensorial experiences, memories and a point of view. It is a lifestyle.

Our distribution is intentionally selective: only 21 lab-boutiques worldwide and limited counters with curated partners.

Our global office is based in New York City and our European office is based in London. We are also a recent addition to the Estée Lauder family.

Business development:

Responsible for achieving monthly goals
Identify and pursue growth opportunities
Develop brand awareness within the community
Share monthly Report and sales analysis to the EMEA brand manager
Understand the specificity of the boutique’s clientele
Build a strong creative plan for each corner/store to increase business, respecting the brand philosophy
Closely work with retailer’s marketing and buyers team to implement the plan
Develop brand awareness within the store
Implement new launches (training teams, merchandising…) and monitor product’s performances
Responsible for counter appearance (merchandising, cleanliness…)
Responsible for correct counter stock assortment and proper levels
Train entire departments for new launches or events

Hire, train, coach and motivate field teams
Identify new business opportunities and key partners within the store and outside
Support new store opening from an operational standpoint of view to the team recruitment and set up
Leading by example, be a role model to the team
Hire, train, coach a professional sales force
Motivate, develop, empower the team
Maintain thorough understanding of Le Labo’s policies & procedures.
Create the monthly schedule

Client interactions:

Being able to genuinely connect with clients with the right intention and communication style
Ensure a welcoming environment for the clients in the store
Share the beauty of our craft, the knowledge on the art of fine perfumery, the brand and the collection
Compound perfumes, labeling, and boxing the products
Build a strong client database by gathering all client’s information
Answer all client needs and escalating to corporate level for specific requests.

In-store operational duties:

Follow brand’s processes and policies
Maintain the cleanliness and order of the boutique
Maintain updated training documents available to the team
Merchandising of the store
Oversee team schedule and boutique coverage’s
Support supply chain and financial reports

Stock Control:

Responsible for boutique’s inventory: monitoring stock levels, executing monthly inventory following brand’s policies and respecting timelines,
Ordering new merchandise as needed


Responsible for store monthly accounting: monitoring the stores expenses, reporting boutique sales and taxes,
Responsible for checking and tracking team hours based on communicated work schedule,
Creating new SKU’s in the POS software as needed

Additional Responsibilities:

Managing additional projects as needed (wholesale orders, corporate orders, events…)
