Stellenbeschreibung

The indirect procurement function is responsible for all 3rd party spend within C&A, with the exception of
merchandise. This covers all indirect spend within Europe, on group as well as country level. The Purchasing
Manager will be responsible for one (or more) spend categories and is the first point of contact for any
procurement related issues for their category.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the supply market
• Development and execution of the category strategy
• Stakeholder Management
• Measuring supplier performance
• Periodical supplier business reviews
• Maintain supplier relationships in order to drive cost reductions while continually achieving the highest level of quality
• Management reporting of key data for the category
• Conducting strategic sourcing projects
• Implementation of supplier contracts
• Guide and support internal customers with any contract or supplier related issues

Profil

• University degree in business, economics or similar
• At least 3 years’ experience in strategic procurement and a thorough understanding of strategic procurement processes
• Experience in developing and implementing cost transparency models
• Ability to evaluate procurement marketplace for assigned categories
• Understanding of total cost of ownership and technical understanding of assigned commodities
• Preferably experience in international environment
• Fluent in English, German is a benefit
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills including the ability to interface on senior management level and the ability
to develop and maintain business relationships
• Flexibility and capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
