Job Description:

National Trainer DACH-NL- Germany

Reporting to:  Head of Training EMEA

 

Job Summary: 

The National Trainer is responsible for leading the field education and execution strategy in DACH-NL Region.  They are responsible for ensuring a consistent brand experience at point of sale that meets/exceeds company sales and service standards.  This will be accomplished with leading new executive on-boarding and seasonal trainings, retail account trainings, services training, in-store development, and special events.

Key ResponsabilitiesLeads Territory Education Strategy and ExecutionWorks with the Country Manager & Team Coordinator to determine seasonal territory objectives, priorities and goals (Superstar business, seasonal launches, new account openings, counters and special events)Communicates seasonal education plan to counter Business Manager and Regional Make-up SpecialistProvides on-going individual and group coaching to German team to ensure the execution of point of sale initiativesProvide in-store modules that maximize consultant engagement, expertise and sell-through (including but not limited to services, basic, seasonal and promotional business goals)Responds to and communicates education needs and results in DACH-NL to the HT, CM & TCManages Retail Training Administration and ExecutionResponsible for educating retail accounts to improve sell through via regional classes and/or on-site trainingBuild strong relationship with key education influencers to negotiate optimum education opportunitiesExecutes trainings that embody the brand experience as well as improve sell throughLeads New Hire Orientation Works with the CM & TC to develop an orientation plan for all new team members which focuses on the brand experience at the point of sale, product knowledge, and artistry expertiseLeads strategies to develop a strong emotional connection with new and existing representatives in open-sell environments and counters  Special EventsSupport planned retail events such as Personal Appearances and Master ClassesAdministrationComplete and submit all requests for information within time schedule (monthly schedule, expense report, training and gratis requests, training recaps)Complete and submit expense reports on time each monthOther Special Projects: Participate in the writing and creation of education content, as requestedProvides ongoing feedback, insights and ideas to the corporate education team on programs, products, retail/field needs and competitive activityLeads special projects as requested by the corporate education departmentAssist Head of Training EMEA with large scale trainings and/or multiple trainings that occur on the same date at different Markets if requiredOffice and Travel:This position requires up to 80% travelThis employee is required to work from a home office and have the ability to travel between account locationsThis position allows for 1 office day/week

Profil

    Requirements:
 

  • Douglas/Sephora experience

  • Cosmetics experience

  • Computer literate (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment

  • Good communication, writing, and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work independently

  • Able to travel within a designated territory

  • Dedicated and detail oriented

  • Self-starter with willingness to work hands-on
