The vast majority of consumer journeys start online - they like to browse, research and compare products, even if they intend to buy in-store. The way consumers shop is reshaping the marketplace. As a result, many of our wholesale accounts (partners) are going through their own digital transformations. They are investing in how they reach the consumer online, whilst a new breed of accounts in the form of pure players and eMarketplaces have emerged in our digital ecosystem with new business models to service and sell to our consumers. At adidas, we are redefining our digital presence in a way that will push the future of digital and create premium experiences across all our consumer touchpoints to drive brand desirability, engagement and sales for our brands. The Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) team is driving this evolution in digital wholesale and through new business models across our worldwide organization.
As Manager Business Analytics with a focus on Performance Testing, you will work in an agile, fast-paced, global organization and in close collaboration with our country teams across the world. Your key responsibility will be supporting the development of digital improvement measures (initiatives) with our wholesale partners, by providing high quality data on initiative impact across defined digital KPIs. In this role, you will develop and implement customized testing schemes (A/B testing, lift tests etc.) and interpret results to inform development. Success will be high quality testing results, enabling initiative owners to make data driven decisions on impact and initiative improvements.
- Develop and implement testing, tracking and reporting schemes to measure impact of digital initiatives being piloted to improve visibility of our brand, findability of our products, best possible ranging and conversion of adidas products on Partner websites. Analyses and reporting might include but are not limited to: digital sales performance, digital web performance and digital account diagnostics
- Define data points required and conduct data cleaning and engineering of raw data provided by partner accounts to enable test design, execution and measurement
- Develop reporting and visualization of test results to derive actionable insights to further shape and improve the initiatives we develop with our partners
- Build scalable analytics & testing tools (e.g. in Excel, Alteryx or Python) that can be deployed to market analytics teams supporting global roll-out of digital sales improvement initiatives
- Global lead for all testing topics within the DPC organization, ensuring consistency in testing methods and reporting used to enable consistently high output quality across all markets.
- A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction
- Very good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex analysis results to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
- Extensive experience with data visualization techniques and analytics tools and disciplines (web, eCom, social, mobile, sentiment, paid media, SEO, SEM, CRM, SQL etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office, MSS and either Alteryx, R or Python
- Fluent English both verbally and written
- 2.5+ years of professional experience, with extensive experience in the area of Digital Analytics (e.g. Web analytics, Digital Media/Marketing analytics, SEO Analysis or Attribution Modelling)
