- Pro-actively enable and ensure transparency of spend and drive for an optimization of efficiency (procedures and cost) in collaboration with adidas HR function and related stakeholders
- Build business relationships and own the procurement partnering relationship with the relevant stakeholders of HR Services categories within adidas and the related supplier base
- Development and implementation of procurement category related strategies in alignment with senior procurement management and relevant Business Partners
- Own, lead and drive the creation and implementation of sourcing and supplier strategies and ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards and guidelines for HR Services related categories in alignment with the overall procurement strategy
- Lead supplier selection processes in alignment with business partners and negotiate contracts up to final authorization including dispute resolution, approving and qualifying vendors as well as appropriate authorization of contracts and purchase orders within the adidas signature policy
- Initiate, lead and participate in cross-functional teams in defined procurement and general development projects as well as pro-actively supporting other procurement team members in their tasks and activities
- Continuous learning and development of relevant procurement/category knowledge and methodologies driving innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function
- Ensure all activities within the procurement organization complies with external legislations and other adidas internal policy and compliance requirements

- Internal: Business Partners and stakeholders in supporting functions (e.g., HR, TECH, Digital, Legal, Audit)
- External within supplier organization: Executives, Key Account Managers, Legal Council
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
- Facilitating category relevant strategies and ensure visibility and transparency of spend in the areas of the global HR category across adidas.
- To ensure that commercial and business relationships and engagements with suppliers are handled according to policies, commercials, risks, and category related best practices for the dedicated categories of adidas.


- Expert and detailed knowledge of sourcing and procurement methodologies and concepts, like TCO and Life Cycle of Products/Services, Business Partnering and Category Management in the area of HR Services
- Expert and detailed knowledge in HR Services, with strong experience in the industry
- Strong experience in the area of External Workforce / Contingent Workforce Management
- Proficiency in MS Office and preferably Ariba Guided Buying, Ariba eSourcing, SAP Fieldglass
- Proven ability to drive category strategy and setup supplier selection and management
- Proven ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies to face market trends
- Good experience in Zero Based Budgeting Methodology related to HR services
- Strong knowledge and experience in stakeholders and supplier relationship management.
- Strong capability to independently interact throughout adidas and initiate, build and maintain business partnership relationship in relation to the relevant procurement categories
- Extensive international project and process management knowledge and experience
- Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Action oriented and solution minded team player with high degree of self-management
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Travel of up to 30%
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university (Bsc./Msc.) with emphasis on the areas of business, finance, procurement or legal, or comparable professional education.
- At least 8+ years working experience with 5+ years of experience in similar or adequate role in procurement environment, preferable with 3+ project and people management elements
