•Actively partner with other external & internal departments to drive the business strategy and vision.
•To display pro-active behaviours at all times and develop Retail Operations within Ted’s European markets.
•To review all operating practices regularly and ensure all tools and training methods are transferred to the individual territory where applicable.
•Support your line manager in the coaching of all retail practices and policies, to protect the assets of the company by constant system review and improvements.
•To ensure that the teams uphold the Ted Baker brand image, to deliver the company mission statement, and to act as an ambassador for the brand at all times
Roles / Overview & Key Responsibilities
•Reports in to the Global Retail Operations Manager and partners with the rest of the Global Operations team
•Works in partnership with Country/Cluster Managers and Retail Supports to deliver on Operational KPI’s
•Acts as an advisory to the European Retail population; driving standards, identifying risk & proposing solutions in a timely manner
•Develop strategic partnerships with all levels of the business, particularly at UBB and maintain productive relations with Host stores and your colleagues.
•Adapts personal, interpersonal and managerial behaviour to bring out the best in people and enhance the company brand values.
•Displays proficient knowledge in AX POS and reporting and with the support and guidance of your line manager, organizes store systems/processes to support a sales environment creating operational guidelines that are bespoke to each territory.
•Be competent in knowledge of territory performance and have a keen awareness of local markets.
•Can manage change well by developing workable implementation plans, communicates changes effectively and builds commitment and overcomes resistance.
•Support the team to maximise sales potential by the correct use of all resources, team motivation and contribution.
•Always present yourself in the highest possible standards in line with brand expectation.
•Reflect the values of the brand with integrity and respect for others. Be seen as truthful, fair, trustworthy and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for the brand.
•Protect the assets of the business by ensuring each location meets the required company standard in security, health and safety and maintenance. Sample regularly and report findings to your line manager.
Specific Areas of Responsibility / Main responsibilities
•Responsible for aspects of planning, critical path management and project delivery
•With the support of your line manager create and maintain written processes/procedures for best practice, uniformity and reduced tasking
•Keeps abreast of all UK policy changes and seeks to aligned Europe where possible
•Actively seeks understanding of P&L, specifically locations contribution to effectively drive consider and implement cost saving initiatives with the support of your line manager
•Collation of measurable tools to identify opportunities/ training requirements within the Country Manager / Retail Support / Management population
•Report with a balanced view on findings after each location visit
•Understand each market in detail and the specific operational requirements/ tools of the individual territory
•Support your line manager through regular & effective communication at all times
•Ensure operating processes are carried out correctly within each market and regularly sampled to ensure that they are fully understood by the management population
•Periodic reporting and KPI Analysis of measurable tools
•Work with IT on the development of processes required for working with multiple partners
•Work with Finance to reconcile open orders periodically and provide support in daily statement posting
•Store design input based on previous experiences with new store floor plans and design features with Special Projects
•Provides Operational training to NTT and NTP Country/Cluster/Location Managers
