- General Purpose
As a Senior Manager Digital Product Operations at adidas you are responsible for one or several business processes affecting medium to large user groups. Your task is to drive standardization and continuous improvement of global processes as it relates to Digital Products in collaboration with markets and other business stakeholders. Defining best practices, success criteria and driving a culture of operational excellence are just a few of the key activities that will be expected from this role. Additionally, you will be responsible to make modifications or entire redesigns of the processes or parts of processes in your area in cooperation with the major affected stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities
Accountable for one or several business processes affecting medium to large user groups
- Process Definition & Documentation
- Drive the definition of processes with global and local departments. Ensure that these definitions will allow to leverage or build proper digital products solutions with internal and external cooperation partners.
- Be the main process counterpart for major stakeholders concerning market roll-outs or new functionalities in your area of responsibility.
- Drive the alignment of processes within your scope of responsibility, ensuring a consistent integration to the adidas application landscape through internal and external interfaces.
- Drive the formalization and documentation of defined processes, providing transparency on current state and a solid foundation for evolution.
- Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and analyze respective processes continuously. Identify improvement opportunities and define respective solutions in alignment with the product owners.
- Conduct process reviews involving all relevant stakeholders to collect appropriate feedback and define/enrich a backlog of improvements.
- Define and pre-qualify change requests for new functionalities. Ensure there is sufficient detail for qualification and solution selection. Ensure process documentation reflects implemented changes.
- Coordinate with product owners to provide transparency on improvements and backlog prioritization of user needs for relevant tools.
- Participate in relevant agile ceremonies of the product teams to represent the voice of operations.
- Broadcast updates & capture/consolidate feedback into/from market teams and other relevant user groups.
- Day-to-day Operations
- Provide appropriate support to markets and agile teams on day-to-day issue resolution and operations.
- Capture usability requirements for digital products from internal users and facilitate backlog prioritization.
- Configure internal tooling in alignment with market operations teams.
- Troubleshoot problems and involve relevant product teams to provide timely fixes and workarounds for new feature delivery.
- Collaborate with the TECH delivery hubs to drive continuous product improvement of operations and capability deployments.
- Best Practices
- Define and document standard best practices and control methods.
- Drive best practice communication and trainings throughout the whole organization.
- Provide user training & support for internal tools and digital products.
- Augment and maintain documentation and user guides for internal user tools.
- Co-own together with the product teams specific targets of OOH reduction and tool NPS of business users.

- Requirements
- Education & Experience
- Degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of experience in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment
- Expert knowledge in respective domain e.g. Payments, Consumer Engagement etc.)
- Experience in managing highly complex processes, involving multiple teams in different geographies
- Experience in product management and/or working using agile/SCRUM methodologies
- 0-2 years of experience in leading a team
- Soft-Skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing business processes and business partners
- Very good communication & negotiation skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
- Good people management skills are a plus
- Hard-Skills
- Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
- Project management and project monitoring experience
- Knowledge of process optimization methodologies (LEAN, 6Sigma, etc...) is a plus
- Fluent English both verbally and written
