- Act as site contact in PUMA in the region for our Business Units and stakeholders
- Support the Global Trade Compliance team in developing and deploying trade compliance program and procedures
- Ensure that the company's activities are compliant with domestic and international import/export regulations, customs and sanctions requirements
- Manage and execute preferential and non-preferential requests (LDC, Form A, CoOs)
- Manage and apply for required Trade licenses, permits
- Conduct training on trade compliance laws and regulations, as well as applicable policies and procedures EEMEA -based company associates and new hires
- Establish Customs and FTA requirements for countries within the region considering PUMA's sourcing factories' locations
- Prepare and deliver training programs for PUMA employees and for the factories regarding the Free Trade Agreements used by PUMA worldwide, the Certificates of Origin, the Rules of Origin and Forms / Templates required by the subs in LATAM using the benefits of FTAs
- Support Global Trade Compliance team in duty optimization topics, focusing in the region
- Legal background
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Customs/International Trade Law
- Experience in HS (tariff) classification, customs valuation and country of origin determination. Very good knowledge of import/ customs regulations, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, Import Duties, International Regulations
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills (the ability to present trade compliance concepts in a technical environment and to all management levels)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Critical thinking and excellent problem solving and analysis skills
- Ability to handle confidential information frequently and appropriately
- Capable of working independently in support of trade compliance objectives and working collaboratively with trade compliance personal and a variety of business functions
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Professional English level (written and spoken); any additional language in EEMEA is a plus
- Apparel & footwear industry experience is a plus

Profil
