About the Role:

In this pivotal position, you'll be steering a team dedicated to crafting data-driven strategies that resonate with millions and convert intent into long-term customer value. Your domain will be the Measurement marketing effectiveness, and developing innovative solutions to optimize marketing channel performance, where you'll apply your mastery of machine learning, predictive models, optimisation algorithm, experimentation and causal inference to drive success in our significant marketing investments.

  • Expert Leader: You are a visionary with a passion for guiding teams through the frontier of data science in performance marketing. With a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field, your leadership is informed by deep technical knowledge and strategic thinking.

What You'll Do?

As a Data Science Manager, your role is to streamline communication, lead innovation, and develop a high-performing team that delivers impactful, data-driven marketing solutions for both measurement, and optimisation. For this you specifically expect to demonstrate the followings:

  • Effective Communication: Skillfully convey key messages, resolve blockages, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner effectively with product teams, engineers, and marketing, including working with senior and principal applied scientists to ensure unified team direction.
  • Leadership Excellence: Lead and navigate through complex projects, directly manage a team of up to 10 members, recruit and retain top talent, and cultivate an inclusive team culture that promotes innovation.
  • Technical and Scientific Leadership: Balance technical expertise with people management, drive scientific rigor in solution delivery, and empower the team to innovate and take ownership of their work.
  • Operational Management: Ensure smooth operation of production systems with an emphasis on quality, scalability, and continuous improvement. Manage technical debt and infrastructure efficiently.
  • Business Acumen: Understand business operations to contribute effectively to performance marketing goals. Guide the team through organizational challenges with a clear understanding of department-specific needs.
  • Growth and Development: Foster a learning environment, differentiate roles and responsibilities within the team, and provide actionable feedback for continuous team improvement.
