THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As Head of Treasury Strategy (all genders) you will manage one of the two teams in Zalando's Treasury department. You will work closely with the Group Treasurer on the development of new strategies to support Zalandos growth journey. You will actively lead initiatives, analysis and solutions for identifying and managing financial risks. Our vision is driving Treasury to a new era of strategic partnerships while embracing innovation and integrating new technologies in Treasury.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- Asset and Financial Risk Management on Group and Subsidiary level (FX, Interest Rate-, Credit-, Liquidity- & Operational-Risk) as well as Capital Market Management
- Development and review of Treasury strategies to support business growth and anticipate risk mitigation measures
- Monitoring of regulatory topics and financial markets developments
- Communication with external (Banks, Financial Regulations) and internal stakeholders (Finance, Tech and Business Units)
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in finance or economics (quantitative orientation)
- 10+ years of relevant working experience in Treasury functions
- Solid leadership skills with a team player mentality
- Strong track record in Treasury Management, Risk Management, Investment Management, debt and equity capital markets and Working Capital Management
- Goal and solution orientated, keen to lead projects but also be a team player
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and Bloomberg
- Experience in working with SAP or equivalent ERP/TMS Systems
- Clear communication in English and preferably also German, high social competence to successfully deal with a wide range of stakeholders while leading Projects and intrinsic motivation
