Zalando's Business Finance Organization (BFO) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified professional for the role of Manager Market Finance. You will be part of the central markets finance team that supports our Markets teams in identifying opportunities and improving the financial business performance and processes. If you are a hands on problem solver with a profound finance and analytical background who is eager to dive deep into numbers and at the same time drive standardisation of business processes and bring reporting to the next level this is the perfect role for you.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• You'll support on monthly/quarter financial reportings by preparing performance reviews for Markets for the Senior Management Board
• You'll work autonomously with our data, ensure data accuracy and create reports and maintain existing ones in close collaboration with our markets clusters and key stakeholders
• You'll run ad hoc analysis, sort out and optimize business processes as well as analyze performance and identify financial exposure
• You'll actively participate in or manage projects to ensure we are taking the right decisions in our business and to strive to constantly improve our financial tools to make better and faster decisions
• You'll actively participate in the budget and review processes, liaise with business stakeholders to coordinate the consolidation and review of strategic initiatives and financial plans across markets
• Furthermore, you'll collaborate closely with the business, challenge and influence their decisions to identify challenges, and implement best practices to drive value and our long-term growth

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You have a Master's Degree in Finance (or a similar major) and come with 3-5 years of experience in Finance, including a strong analytical focus and technical background
• You persuade with your advanced knowledge in common BI tools, MS Excel, Google Workspace and data modelling, knowledge of SAP and SQL is preferable
• You have strong analytical skills, dive deep into numbers where needed at the same time keep an eye on the bigger picture and connect the dots
• You come with a proactive mindset, hands on and eager to continuously learn and improve with an ability to solve problems quickly and in a structured manner
• You convince with your excellent communication skills and are comfortable to connect with stakeholders to understand business needs and to share your view to colleagues on the basis of concepts and facts
• You have an excellent command of verbal and written communication skills in English
